Last night I took my family to lagrotta restaurant.It was a beautiful experience. From the moment we walked in we were treated like family. It was my husband's birthday. The food was very tasty,well presented and homemade. The bread was delectable. The restaurant was very busy and some walkings were turned away . Service was professional and friendly. We will be back soon. Thank you for making last night very enjoyable.
Back in May I had my son's Baptism @ Lagrotta restaurant. I am glad we did because it was the best party we ever organized. We were placed in the smaller room because we were only 20 people. We were set up like a square shape where we all could see each other.I also was asked to come the night before to see if I liked the set up. The staff and owners are all professionals and I felt like family. I was surprised to read some of the reviews whom if you READ CAREFULLY are probably written by the same person who is trying to gain market share. Anyways, the service is friendly and professional and the food is superb. I truly will book my daughter's communion there.
The restaurant is not very big. We booked a party here for 23 people and Frank (owner) promised us that our party would sit in the dining room. We booked it 3 months in advance and left a deposit. We found out the day before (only because my wife called to confirm a few things) that that our room was given to a bigger group (of 33) and that our party (of 23) was being moved into the hallway (a tiny room used to join the kitchen, bathrooms, bar, and entrances) which in no way would fit 23 adults and kids. Frank didn't care, he was extremely rude, and told us that is how businesses run, and even refused to refund our deposit. (We ended up hosting our party at home at the last minute), I should have researched some reviews here before booking this place, given the horror stories I'm reading now (poor service, poor quality food, over charging for drinks and bottles, musty smells, crowded rooms) I would never have booked it. Buyer Beware. Also, notice the positive reviews here all originate from the same few users (just click on the user names for their history).
It been around 5 years since coming here. I took my wife for our 25th anniversary. We sat on the backdoor patio, great ambiance, music and dim lights. Felt like in Italy, No rushing, We really enjoy the Bruschetta and Portebello Mushroom appetizers. then picked the fish and meat items from the fix menu. Overall Dinner was great, good flavours and portions, My wife and I will remember u guys, thanks for such a lovely evenin.
My Family and I were so happy after dining here. From the beginning, the group of servers were friendly and educated, they helped us choosing the famous items from the summerlicious menu which were delicious. The tomato sauce with the veal was delightful adding up with some homemade spicy they have... Yummy!! We feel that it was a great evening, desserts came out with a candle and a cute song for my Mom's 80th Bday which made her so happy and especially after everyone in the restaurant became part of such a great celebration. We had recommended to our family and friend, We'll definitely come back, Thank you La Grotta
