This creamy chowder is inspired by classic southern cuisine. We start with a base of chicken stock, roux and cream. Then we load it with corn and flavour it with thyme, black pepper and a hint of cayenne pepper.

This hearty Cajun soup is made from a dark roux and chicken stock and is served with an accent of rice. This one has a smack of southern spice for your taste buds.
Baltimore Peel and Eat Shrimp
A healthy portion of shrimp sauteed in butter, flavored with garlic, onions, lemon juice and a hint of cayenne pepper sauce. Served with our Caesar seafood dipping sauce.
BBQ Bruschetta
Diced tomatoes, onions, garlic and fresh basil marinated in our own BBQ sauce then baked on a cayenne buttered French loaf with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Santa Fe Nachos
Corn tortilla chips layered with our own southwestern salsa, cilantro pesto and a mix of cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
Cat Tails
Bite sized pieces of Cajun fried catfish served with our Caesar seafood dipping sauce.

We slow cook a pork shoulder with Olde Ale and our own spice rub and finish it off with Kansas City BBQ sauce until it is perfectly tender. We serve it hot on a kaiser roll.
Texas Steak on a Bun
Grilled, thinly sliced steak that has been cured in our signature spiced balsamic vinegar marinade. Served on a kaiser roll with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes, Swiss cheese and caramelized onions.

The servers are fun, the food is so flavourfull, the decor was priceless, really take the time to look around; we will go back the moment we are back in town
This is a very funky restaurant, with a great atmosphere and good service. We have been there many, many times over the years, and the food is consistantly hit & miss - generally mediocre, but then it's not trying to be a fine food restaurant. If you want creative, high quality dishes, this ain't the place. If you're looking for a good place to unwind after a busy day, and have a bite to eat that's o.k. but nothing more, then this is your place. Just don't expect a meal to remember. (unless you're a really bad cook or something)
maybe it was a busy day...don't know how the HBM measure that. Server pleasant but running the whole time we were there...Only two servers and every table was being used...perhaps management needs to look at that.... music just a tad too high...enjoyable, just a little loud
Im not saying the food was bad, but it could have been better. I cant remember what the name of my food was...something chicken, the sauce was fantastic but the chicken itself was overcooked. Sweet potato frys were awsome and the cajun potatos were even better. I wish i could say the service was good but we waited for our bill about a half hour. We had to go to the bar to ask for it but had to wait for the servers to finish eating before we could leave. I may go back but i would expect a little more from the wait staff, maybe have some stronger managment.
I've been twice. Some of the food was okay: The chicken was dry but tasty, the sweet potato fries were awesome, the gumbo was the consistancy of vegetable soup and tasted terrible, the jumbalaya sides were so salty that 3 of us couldn't eat it. As for service, well, it was slow both times and not pleasant both times. We requested the gumbo be dropped from our bill the second visit because it was terrible and not one of the four of us could eat it. One of us had had it before and said it was nothing like what we were served. Had to speak to the manager after the waiter refused to drop it. The Manager told us, "We wont drop it. That's the way we make our gumbo and today it doesn't taste as good as it normally does. However, you asked for it and we served it to you, it doesn't matter if you liked it or not". So, gave them the 6 bucks for the soup after making a scene, left no tip and told friends and family about it. Miss the fries.
