Way overpriced for a bad selection of food !!, atmosphere is horrible and crowded. Not to mention the 10% tip that has to be paid up, what ever happen to having to earn your tip ????. And the workers dont even get a share of it. Never eating here again, i would rather pay the extra buck and eat at the stylish -- restaurant.

It was very good, the food was delicious, and fast with a large variety of diffrent types of food from soup, to terriaky. The service wasn't terrible. They didn't say much, but they took, deliver, and refilled very quickly. I thought writing your number down, and the waitress picking it up was a great idea! Overall, it was a great experience and i can't wait to go back again! P.S Don't be afraid to try the Mango, of Red Bean ice cream! They're delicious!!

Good value, poor service.

I visit whenever I'm craving sushi. The all you can eat lunch is a great value. Yummy rolls, sushi, and tempura. Definitely recommend the red bean ice cream! The service is quick, but the waitresses won't look at you, let alone say a word to you. Beward of the hours - there is a break between lunch and dinner service. If you can overlook the poor service, it's all you can eat good food for a great price (especially at lunch).

Be wary that they've added a couple of new menu items while increasing the meal prices! They did not inform us about this change until we were done eating. Dinner is $19.99, not $15.99 anymore. It's also mandatory to pay the 10% tip, automatically added to your bill. They hardly merit this tip as it is the worst service, by far, in Waterloo. Some of the waitresses are nice, but they need to be trained or at least learn some manners.

Lunch is cheaper, dinner has a greater variety...

Lunch is cheaper, dinner has a greater variety. I've been to both locations. The Kitchener site is smaller and although it does get busy, a table is more readily available. Conversely, while the Waterloo location doesn't require you to call ahead, it is highly recommended if you're hoping to have dinner during peak hours. The staff do not connect personally with customers as is my usual experience in Asian restaurants. It does not offend me. The cost for all you can eat dinner is $20/person. There is a 2 hour limit, although I doubt the majority stay the entire duration. Pop and tea are included in the $20, and is refillable. My visits are usually pleasant; however, I have on occasion been served sashimi that is still a little frozen and eel that didn't taste quite right. I don't believe it happens enough to truly change my view of the restaurant. For the most part, the fish is fresh and the food is quickly received. Like other all you can eat sushi restaurants, leftover food is charged at the regular price. It prevents waste, so order often (as opposed to everything at once). Ye's is my restaurant of choice in the K-W. There's not a lot of diversity here in comparison to Toronto and I am eager to give such places a chance. Hope to see you there!
