Service was good. Food was overpriced and it was very bland. If you want a romantic evening, this isn’t the place. Tables are so close together you can eat off of a stranger’s plate. In addition, they completely forgot about my husband’s birthday. Never going back. Worst Italian restaurant I’ve been to.
Went here for lunch but will not be back. I must say the food here is very good. Unfortunately the Service Manager or Waiter is very pushy and will invite himself into your conversations. He invited himself to sample our food (which we declined), he kept trying to hit on us, and stood over us until we ordered. In addition, there were 4 gentlemen just standing around the bar looking around the whole time. It was annoying. I am Italian and have been to many great Italian restaurants, but this is not one of them. It has great potential, great decor and great food but lacks in customer service. I really do hope they change it around.
Dinner for two on a Friday night. Arrived on time and was seated right away. Dining room was lively. Lots of smiling diners laughing away and enjoying themselves. Great atmosphere. Perfect timing from drinks to menus, appetizers to entrees. The food is simple, clean and fresh. Portions were more than generous. My osso bucco was perfect. My wife and I cleaned our plates. Not expensive. Great value. The owner came to ask how our meal was and thank us personally for our patronage. We told him we were celebrating something and he bought us a round of drinks on the house. Classy. Left full but energized. A sign of good fresh food. Will definitely be back. If you make a reservation ask for Sams section. Great waiter. His wine pairings were perfect.
Great authentic gourmet Italian. Service is more then excellent. Prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere & decor is lovely. It's 5 star Italian food & service at 3 star prices. Make a reservation, it gets busy on weekend nights. The staff is very accommodating however.
One of the hallmarks of dining in downtown Oakville is whether folks will 'cross the bridge' to the west side of Lakeshore Road for dinner, for Pasquales people do and for good reason! Pat and Laurie have created an oasis of Italian comfort food and the feeling like you are part of the family whether it's your first time dining there or your 51st! We had a wonderful dinner of homemade gnocchi, bucatinni with rapini, seafood pasta and the evening's special fish...all of it delicious! The service was wonderful, attentive without being pushy, genuine and well mannered. Will we be back...absolutely!
