Meat Lover’s Paradise!
I would have to say that Copacabana is definitely a meat lover’s paradise and offers the best tasting meats that I have ever had. I wanted to go out and try something different with my girlfriend, and a friend of mine had been here a few times before. Hard to believe now that I have never dined here before knowing that it is only a 15 minute drive away! Well, my friend loved the food but did not love the price, but it was going to be for our anniversary. When we got there, we were seated right away, even though it was Friday and very busy. Our waitress explained to us how the meat was served because we were new to it. We were given a card that had ‘Heat It Up’, and ‘Cool it down’ on it. Basically, you eat your main meal and then when you want dessert you turn the card over to ‘Cool It Down’. Before we got to that part, we first went over to the self serve buffet. The buffet had salads, seafood, pasta and vegetables. I would advise you to not eat too much of the buffet and to save as much room as possible for the main course. The waiters roamed around and hand carved a large variety of mouth-watering meats. We had turkey breast wrapped in bacon, peppercorn steak, filet mignon wrapped in smoked bacon, prime rib, tri-tip steak, braised beef ribs, herb marinated pork loin and a few others. When we cooled it down, the waiters brought out a very delicious cinnamon baked pineapple and some deep fried bananas. I was very satisfied with both the service and food. The dinner came to about $130 including a few drinks. I would definitely recommend trying this Brazilian steakhouse because as you can tell I was amazed with the food quality and the classiness of the restaurant. I will be returning soon!
