Spageddy Eddys

Visited from out of the town to eat. To our unexpected surprise we were greeted by the rudest hostess. We decided to leave after not feeling welcome. I mentioned that there are many places to dine and thought they would like the business of a family of 8 on a sat 4:30pm. Her response oh no, we will be busy tonight anyway. Spoke to employee in back alley and she came out and said he’s just the cook like he’s not important. We value cooks! Sorry Danny we gave our dining $$$$ elsewhere:(

Gr8 meatballs

Used to be one of my fav places, not anymore. Went with a group of 5 had to wait for 45 mins in a queue. The meatballs with the sauce were gr8, but i was sadly disappointed to the same sauce in all the pasta dishes. The portions are gr8 for the price, but it kinda gets boring after 2-3 visits.Not sure whether i'll go back.

Interesting Place

Very interesting take on usually fair of spaghetti. Different toppings and add ons were available, The appitizers were offering a good selection. I would say the food was served very hot and tasted good. I would return to this place. Other notes were that it is very small and sometimes there is a wait time to get in. Good place to go once in a while.

Okay Place

We had a opportunity to visit this establishment between draws at the recent Brier. It came recommended by a friend. We were a large party and made reservations for 6pm. I arrived at 5:45 to find a lineup up the stairs, a lineup that extended out the door not long after. That being said, we were seated shortly after six. My only comment is that the hostess/waitress only seemed to deal with the first people in line and didn't question other people in line about party size/reservations, it didn't matter much in our case as we got to the front of line fairly quickly, but may have, if there had been a large party in front of us. Once seated we were served quickly and our orders arrived hot/accurately and in good time. My only negative comment would be that the waitress just dropped all our drinks on the table and left it to us to sort them out, although all the entrees were delivered to each person. I'd describe the food as okay. Pasta was cooked to what I felt was the right degree of doneness. Meatballs were good, meatsauce could have been a little more "meaty" perhaps, with maybe a little more of it, given the amount of pasta in the Lil' Abner size bowl it came in. Which brings me to my next comment. While I'm sure the large bowls are part of the overall atmosphere/experience, I think a regular plate, lower, different bowl shape would be preferable, not a large matter, just personal preference. The waitresses were quick and friendly, even though the restaurant was full,busy and had quite a number of people waiting in line. We had our kids and they had kid sized potions. All in all, a good experience overall. Food was decent enough, service was good. Atmosphere was okay, I'd describe it as Spagetti Factory Lite. Would visit again under similar circumstances, but not being from London would probably like to check out some of the other restaurants around town.

I've read other reviews of this restaurant before I paid my visit, so I did not expect to be greeted with anyone at the door. And as I expected, noone came and ask us how many were in our party. However, the wait time was not that long, less than 15 minutes before we were brought to our table. The atmosphere is great and its the main reason why I'd like to visit again. Adequate food, the spaghetti is kind of overcooked but the sauce and toppings are great! The restaurant closes quite early, around 9ish, but we weren't rushed to leave even though we were the last customers in there. Overall, it was a pleasant Saturday night dinner. And I'd probably go again!
