“I first started riding Italian motorcycles when I was living in Australia in the 1970s,” Brian Taylor says. “Before that I was riding Japanese brands. When I got back to Canada, I immediately bought a Ducati.” Having been around them since his childhood, Brian developed a lifelong passion for motorcycles. “My friends introduced me to them,” Brian says. “From many points of view I have always loved them. From the aesthetics to the technical side to the riding.”
Such was his love for motorcycles that he left university to pursue his passion. His first foray into a career with bikes came with his service shop in Cochrane in 1985, after which he became a Calgary-based franchised dealer of Ducati in 1991 with Sport Cycle Limited.
