Went there for a family function about a month ago. Overall, I found the place to be very good. The portion sizes were good and the food was tasty. The veal was too salty but still tasty. This used to be our local pub until we moved away. Great atmosphere in an old house building, great prices and decent food. Loved sitting by one of the fireplaces with a pint and a Dodger Club (with real turkey, not deli slices). The staff was very friendly and over the years we got to know many of them. They also had fun Halloween parties, great Thanksgiving style meals and holiday parties. It always had a cozy feel in the fall/winter and enjoyable patios in the spring/summer. Lire plus

I have been to this location before and have always been somewhat satisfied, decent food/service..but today was completely different.The young man working the dinner hour shift named Alex was absolutely incredible....came around and asked if we were all happy with our food, asked everyone, then came over and started CLEANING tables for customers, putting trays in garbage etc.I have NEVER seen that in a fast food joint(young lady helped too!!) Hello, I go to restaurants and everybody around me seems miserable - I went to Aristotles the other day and I was having my dinner, which I will get into later, and then I heard a "HUGE" belly laugh, I looked up and it was the owner, I thought to myself, this guy seems happy. A few minutes later, another belly laugh while he was talking to some people at another table. I am like wow, either this guy is really happy or he is missing a few screws. Anyway, a few minutes later, he came by my table to check on me, he had a smile from ear to ear and asked how everything was. Everything was great, I told him. His attitude and personality put me in the best mood and we have barely had a verbal exchanged - I was thinking to myself, why can't more people in this business be like this guy?? I left in a great mood, and the atmosphere made my day! I came to the conclusion that he is NOT missing a few screws, he has the right idea and puts people in great moods. In respect to the food, the Burger has to be, probably the best I have had since I can remember. Came with a side of fries that were nice and hot! Definitely going back, cant wait to try the wings next! Lire plus

This review is way past due; I've been coming here frequently for over 5 years now for no reason other than it is FANTASTIC. The master chef and his wife are such lovely people who's efforts and dedication to the restaurant really have a great influence on the atmosphere. Did I mention that the food is amazing? The rolls are made fresh and just simply really well. I love the design of the seating area and how the booths are separated it really gives a cozy feel to the place. The vegetable lasagna was delicious, the sea food salad was superb, however the tiramisu was awful. I can't remember the name of the sea food pasta that we ordered but it wasn't good either.
