I recently visited this restaurant and the quality of food was amazing. I I tried two popular dishes, a crispy chicken zinger and spicy fish. The food was FANTASTIC. Very fresh, well prepared food and the sauces complimented the food perfectly. There are a couple of different types of fish, and for those who don't enjoy fish there are also shawarmas and burgers. The 'chips' are cut fresh in the morning. 5 stars would recommend to anyone!

It was a foggy Friday 'nite & RIGHT after seeing the first 02 reviews, I ventured out w' my dog. Luckily it was not packed. I met 02 regulars & they said the place is usually packed on Fridays--maybe the fog is keeping them away. Can you believe this guy has been here for over 30 years & I thought I had tried each and every fish and chip place in Mississauga. One previous review commented on the excellent batter and I thought, no way, batter always has an after taste....nope....no after taste. I told the cook if I feel like driving this far again, I will be back, fer sure.

The prices for what you received were cheap.I like the fact they give you a choice on the Halibut Alaskan Whale or Califonia Halibut. Truly amazing.

My husband and daughter love the burgers and fish and I love their fish and Greek salad ? haven’t had their burgers but I have no doubt they are amazing! My friend had never been to this restaurant and I wanted her to experience it.
The food is fabulous. I've never had the fish and chips but if it's as good as the Thai food, it should be excellent.
The food is so fresh and tasty. My friend was amazed at how good something as simple as spring rolls and fried wontons could be... and the sauces.
I enjoy the less "conventional". The salad rolls are wrapped in large rice noodles and served with peanut sauce. The "Lemon Grass" soup has fresh mushrooms and tomatoes with a selection of chicken, shrimp or fish for $3.99. I choose the shrimp - big, fresh shrimp.
In total we spent $11.85 - incredible for such excellent food. I'm taking another friend this week.

Italian food that can't be beat, everything Mario & Nella serve is freshly made with the finest ingredients money can buy, love the pizza, lasagna and the home made freshly baked bread. Great catering for home entertaining.

I have been to Lousiana last Summer and left with a bad experiance and thought of not going back again.. since all my friends forced me to go i went with them really I felt the difference comparing to my last vist.. its been newly renovated and a beautiful patio to relax and have a beer to chill out with friends. Staff really friendly and they have variety of food menu to decide on. They have a plate called land and sea which comes with lobster, Steak and shrimps which really value for money and good quality i was really impressed with the servise provided and i spoke to the Manager of Lousiana he told me how this was earlier and the new management is really working on with food quiality and provide great customer service... I will definelty go to Louisiana again and do recommand to my friends... WELL DONE LOUISIANA KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

We tried it for the first time, and ordered the Arroz de marisquo (Seafood Rice Stew). One plater was enough for two adults and one child age 12 and there was still leftover for at least one more person. really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was really polite. will definitely comeback again.

I loved everything about this restaurant! From the valet service at the door, the discreet but highly efficient service, the fresh and delicious seafood and wonderfully light Molotov dessert, and the extensive list of Portuguese wines. The atmosphere is lively and sophisticated. Nothing dull here. Yes, this has got to be the best Portuguese restaurant in Toronto! Would definitely recommend for special occasions or romantic dinners.

I had a hankering for a fish and chips lunch one weekday and decided to search my GPS's "points of interest" for something local. English Bay came up as the closest place and I sure am glad it did.
It's a small cozy feeling restaurant, probably about 12-16 seats, not too busy (11:30am). The service was attentive, and the Haddock fish and chips?... the best I've had to date. Oh yeah, the gravy was unique and also tasted great!
I thought the meal was a little pricey but being small and in a plaza, I know that rents can be pretty steep, I guess that kind of justifies it.
I will definitely visit again.
