This is the best grocery store in the area. The store is well stocked, clean, and well lit. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Online order pickup is extremely easy, they are very open and communicate very well when they need to make substitutions, which is rare.
I shop here for all of my groceries and have never had an issue with earning or redeeming my points.
The parking lot is easily accessible from two entrances and is well maintained even in the winter months.

Clean, well organized. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely my favourite Oshawa No Frills. It’s pretty small, which I actually like, easy to find everything, great for basics.

November 27, 2020 was my first visit to this location. I would like to let the owners know that their location was one of the cleanest and organized store, with well stocked shelves. I have shopped at 4 other locations in Whitby/Ajax area and my shopping experience was very different. The floor was well staffed with friendly and helpful staff and the cashier was very friendly and pleasant. I live in Whitby but will definitely shop at this location again.

I have lived in Port Perry for 10 years and have never had a bad experience at Vos. The staff is always friendly and engaging. The store is clean and well organized. Produce is fantastic, bread is fresh and meat is great. I especially love when I see Terry and Christine working around the store. They seem like owners that care about their employees, and their patrons.

I love shopping at the Independant, EVERYONE, from those that stock the shelves, to those on cash, and everyone in between, are so friendly, polite and courteous it’s ALL done with a smile. I’ve never left the store feeling anything but satisfied. They deserve a great big HUG. I could go on about everything else and how they help me but I’ve only got 500 characters. Handy location, good selection, wish you would stock POWDERED cold water tide and think about alternative grocery bagging to possible paper bags instead of plastic

Every time I shop there the cashiers are really friendly and the store is always stocked appropriately. It's not a huge like superstore but I have had consistenly good experiences there.

Most staff very interactive, friendly, helpful. owner not so much. I have worked in retail for many years and the ability to interact with the customer is utmost importance. I find stock is out a lot YES sometimes it is shorted. But I have noticed other stores are not. I enjoy the friendly interaction with the cashiers. PS it is the staff that makes a business great.
