The Ontario Line will be a 15.6-kilometre subway line that will make it faster and easier to travel within Toronto and beyond.
Everyone plays a role in shaping the future of transportation. As a public service, Metrolinx works for you and with you. We invite you to be part of our growth.
Metrolinx owns and operates GO Transit, UP Express and PRESTO – an integrated transit network that simplifies travel within the region.
GO Transit is the regional public transit service for the Greater Golden Horseshoe, serving more than 70 million passengers per year.
UP Express is a dedicated air-rail link between Toronto Pearson International Airport and downtown Toronto in a 25 minute trip.
PRESTO is an electronic payment system in the Greater Toronto, Hamilton, and Ottawa areas that eliminates the need for tickets, passes and cash.
When you have your say our transportation system gets stronger. Join us at our upcoming public engagement events to learn more and share your feedback.
Metrolinx acknowledges that we connect communities by building and operating transit within the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee and the Huron-Wendat peoples, for whom these lands continue to have great importance.
Treaties between First Nations and governments cover these lands, and the promises contained in these Treaties remain relevant to this day.
Metrolinx and its employees are committed to understanding the history of these lands and the continued impacts of colonization and take responsibility for actions to advance reconciliation.
Metrolinx will continue to seek the knowledge, expertise and experience of Indigenous partners and commits to doing business in a manner that is built on a foundation of trust, respect, and collaboration.
