Awful, unfriendly service and workplace, good luck if you ever work for Bob, abusive workplace have witnessed him yell at employees for not doing something right. Very unreasonable prices and dirty workplace. Food is not up to par.
We were staying at the Holiday Inn and they recommended Arcata. While the flavor was excellent, the chef needed to put parchment paper underneath the pizza to keep it from sticking to the bottom of the box. Would have helped too if the driver hadn't tipped the box. And for a $50 plus take out order, napkins as opposed to paper towel from the washroom would have been nice
Arcata is the real deal for great pizza in South Windsor.
This is one of the original pizzarias in South Windor. The pizza is very good and stands out among the best in town. Too bad they don't have a dining room. Arcata pizza has its own loyal customers. It can get expensive if you order extras.
Our family love Arcata's pizza. We probably ordered a hundred times or more in the last few years and will keep the tradition so long the quality remains good. I personally love the crust - not too soft not too hard - and smells like a fresh bakery. What I also like about Arcata is that they cook the Halal pizza in a separate oven to prevent smell contamination. I would not remark about the delivery or charges because we invariably pick up. The owner and staff are very friendly - they greet you warmly while working away on preparing the next pizza.
We ordered from Arcata on Dougall ave and once the pizza finally arrived it was freezing cold and tasted like cardboard. I called to speak with the owner or manager and I ended up speaking with Bob (who is apparently the ONLY owner). He was extremely rude and condescending and told me that they were very busy and we couldn't expect for every pizza to be perfect and that we would get 20% off our next order. After many other rude comments towards me I told him that we would not be placing another order with Arcata again and we expected to order our dinner and eat it tonight, not next time. Then he hung up on me. I called back to speak with him or another owner and they refused to take my call! I will not be supporting this business anymore...whatever happened to customer service?
Awesome food, we've tried others but always end up back at Arcata. My brother comes back from Toronto and he heads to Arcata for a pizza before he gets to our place We just wish they would offer delivery service
I have been eating at Arcata since I moved to Windsor 3 years ago and still love it. My boyfriend has been eating there pizza for as long as he can remember. Wonderful pizza, and amazing service.

Bucket of past was poor quality, smelt foul and worse than Chef Bouardi. The pasta was 30$, but could have been made for 5$ including beef. The Pizza was okay, the salads was made up of lettuce with dressing...thats it. Oh yeah, they charged us an extra $5 for Styrofoam plates (7 of them).... Thinking of Arcata??? Think again.

Been going to Arcata for a long time. I've been an on off customer for over 15 years. They're really hit and miss lately. Sometimes the pizza is excellent, other times, it's not that great. The so called greek pizza was the most disgusting thing ever, and a total rip off for the price. Stick to the regular pizza's and you'll be alright. Oh yeah, did I mention they're too overpriced?
The food was good. However the staff and management at the pizzaria were dishonest and very rude. It is obvious that this business does not cater to the customer but rather to their own pocket book. After the way we were treated, this being the second occasion we will no longer take our business there. There are many other options for pizza in this city.
