Had been a long time since I had been there so I decided to head back in. FOOD IS GREAT .. all homemade ... home cooking, great staff, good people and OMGGosh the pies and the cheesecake are divine. Portions are extremely generous and always have some to bring home. It is a simple .. feel free to where your jogging pants kind of relaxed restaurant :)

Great service with an European flavor. You get lots of food here and it is delicious. One thing our family loves is the big pie servings you get here and boy are they thick and yummy. If you are watching your waist line, skip it when you visit the Java Hut. A great price for tremendous value! Enjoy!

You know you're not in for something overly special when you have to pay for your meal before you've received it. We decided to try this restaurant because there were good reviews on here. We wanted to review to let you know how strongly we disagree with them. From start to finish: - Parking lot was VERY rough - Order process was quick - Table was dirty and no one came to clean it- we wiped it off with a napkin. - Wrong food came to table which can happen but it's not acceptable to make rude comments about co-workers infront of customers. - Servers/cook talking very loudly and were irritating. The conversation was about going home. - Talking about customers who just left is extremely rude. If you insist on doing it, do it in the back and quietly. We don't want to know how judgmental you are especially when it is you who is serving THEM. - I love coffee but the coffee there was terrible. I couldn't even finish my small cup. - Salsa on omelet chilled it entirely. - sausage was overcooked to the point of making it hard and crunchy - homefries were just plain small pieces of old potato.. no onions, no taste just an old oil flavour - eggs were over-easy and fine, needed salt and pepper - toast was fine Food took a long time to get to the table despite there being no rush. The store was not overly clean and the staff appeared to follow suit. We would not go back. We urge this restaurant to shape up.

the java hut is a delicious place to eat everything is homemade and cooked from scratch the waitresses are very pleasent and dont desciminate against tourists I know this beacause im a regular and I see most of what goes on they are if anything intrigued buy tourits i'm ashamed someone would say bad things about the place i frequent daily and hae for 9 years keep up the good work java hut

Definitely not the most glamourous of places to eat, but I have little complaints. Service is decent, food is decent, but there's a serious lack of vegetarian options. It's not a terrible place, but don't expect wonders.

I can't believe how slow it took to get our food. I was watching the cook make our food and there was only two other people having coffee and i think it was 15 minutes after we ordered that she took the perogies out of the freezer and put them in the boiling water. My chicken was hard as a rock and i could not cut it. My pie was like rubber and my cake was hard and stale. Also the coffee tasted like it was burnt. If you don't know how to run a restaurant or get quality food you should have a restaurant. My biggest thing that will make not go there again is the cook. She doesnt know how to cook and it took at least 20-25 minutes for out food when we were the only ones there. The waitress was very pleasant.

I really like the restaurant. My girlfriend works there and she likes to work there. It is always clean, and the staff are wonderful. I go there lots because the food is soo good. If you are hungry, GO TO THE JAVA HUT!!

I think that the food was just flavourless, the sausage was deepfried, the hashbrowns were tiny little pieces hard to pick up with the fork and overdone as well.
