Every morning, our bakers are in the store long before the doors are unlocked getting our breads ready for the day. Breads are never sold the next day, unless youre warned! Currently, we have 6 varieties available:
White Sourdough
A mix of white and whole wheat flours, with water and salt. Thats all! A great chewy sandwich bread, or for your charcuterie boards.
Rye Sourdough
Rye and white flours, with water, molasses, olive oil, lemon zest, spices and salt. A little butter and salami, and breakfast couldnt be any easier.
Cherry Sourdough
One of our favourites, and requested from a client. Made with Niagara cherries, white, rye, and buckwheat flours, water, flax seed and salt, this rustic loaf is great for toasting in the morning or snacking with cheeses.
Beer Baguette
25% whole wheat, with Kichesippi brewery 1855 beer and spent grains from the brewing process. White and semolina flour, with water, salt, sugar and yeast balance out this great bread for charcuterie plates.
Struan
A whole wheat and white flour bread, ideal for sandwiches and toast. The flours are mixed with water, milk, yeast, and salt. After the dough is formed, we fold in a mix of 9 different seeds with wheat bran and rolled oats. Topped with poppy seeds.
Honey and Buttermilk Loaf
Our fantastic white bread is probably the most popular. Extremely moist and fluffy, this bread is everything you want for a sandwich or french toast. White flour, with buttermilk, honey, eggs, water, yeast and salt.

Our Take Home Dinner program runs from Monday to Friday, every week. Every week is also a different menu, with a different meal being made each day of the week.
Ready-made
Meals are ready around 3pm 4pm, ready for your drive home from work.

Meals are also available by pre-order, so that you know there is one waiting for you when you come in

Dinners are made for individual, or two person portions.
Our freezer will always have something ready for a quick meal, when you dont feel like cooking! Our regular selection includes:
Pot Pies
in various flavours. These are small, individual or two person sized, and should be baked in the oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes
Mac n Cheese
A Piggy Market classic, our Mac n Cheese always has at least 4 different cheeses in it! Topped with cheese curds and cheese scone bread crumbs, and accented with green onions.
Soups
There are always at least 4 soup flavours available out of the freezer, if our current fresh soup doesnt appeal to you.
Take Home dinners
Our take home meals dont necessarily sell-out everyday. There is usually a delicious selection in the freezer that we keep at 20% off our regular price!

Tourtiere
Our Classic Canadian meat pie, always in our freezer ready to go. Bake for 2 hours at 350 degrees.

Beef Patties
Using only OBrien farms beef, this is a classic Jamaican patty. Ground chuck is mixed with onions, garlic, scallions and allspice, cooked, and seasoned with Scotch Bonnet Chilies.
Curry Chicken Patties
Hand shredded chicken, seasoned with our own Jamaican curry blend. Also seasoned with Scotch Bonnet Chilies.
Callaloo and Potato Patties
These make rare appearances over the summer. Local Callaloo grown by Jamaican Studio Gardens, just south of the city, is mixed with potatoes, onion, garlic and scotch bonnets to create the spiciest patty we make! Generally available late July Early October.
Scones Savoury and Sweet
Scones Savoury and Sweet Cheddar and chive is pretty constant, but the sweet flavour we try and keep seasonal. Look for Raspberry in the summer, Blueberry most of the fall, Cranberry around Christmas, and more!
Cinnamon Buns
A classic breakfast treat, we keep it simple! A white egg dough, pressed and rolled with brown sugar and cinnamon.
Muffins
Also changing with the seasons! Look for: Rhubarb sourcream, raspberry white chocolate, Blood orange and poppy seed, Pumpkin and currant
Brownies
Sinfully delicious! A mix of 70% dark chocolate, some cinnamon, and a hint of cayenne pepper. Topped with roasted Cocoa nibs
Carrot Cake
Individual sized, with a Mascarpone and Orange icing
Cherry Coconut Squares
Shortbread base with a chewy filling
Fruit Pies
Our Fruit pies change with the season, and are mostly available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pre-order any day of the week though. Our rotation includes: Rhubarb sourcream, Strawberry Rhubarb, Bumbleberry, Raspberry, Sour Cherry, Peach and Blueberry, Apple, Pumpkin, Lemon Meringue, Sugar pie.
Pot Pies
A labor of love for our cooks. Pie fillings are made year round, with seasonal veg in the summer. Usual flavours stocked in our freezer include

Rotisserie chicken, herbed gravy, lots of veg
Turkey
Shredded turkey drumsticks with root vegetables
Pork and Mushroom
Our most popular, braised pork hocks with a mix of 5 different locally grown organic mushrooms

Succulent duck confit, with a savoury celery root focused veg mix
Steak and Kidney
Done right, with flank steak, pork kidneys, caramelized shallots and herbs

Were always happy to fill special orders at the store! Whether you need a specific flavoured bread, a cake for a special occasion, or are having a party and would like a large order, just give us a call and well help you fill it.
