The decor was very nice. We had made reservations to be seated in one of the large tatami rooms. The sushi was very fresh and beautifully decorated. My plate was artfully decorated with radish and carrot flowers! Everything was a treat for the eyes, and than the stomach!

I am from Sacramento but have been staying at the delta hotel on dixie rd for a business trip for the past 10 days. On a search for something to eat for dinner, I drove down dixie rd and found Masamunes. I had sushi to start and the fish was very very fresh which is probably the most important thing when it comes to sushi. The spicy salmon maki was also great. When I asked my server what she recommended she told me that there were several set dinners to choose from. I chose the SAKURA DIINER where you got to choose betten sushi, sashimi, california roll for your appetizer. It was followed by lobster and vegetable tempura (which was also fantastic!) followed by the main course where i chose beef teriyaki (chicken and salmon were also on the list) I enjoyed the food so much that I have since returned about 8 times and have tried alot of other things on their extensive menu. I noticed that they also have a wide array of korean dishes as well and will return next time I am in town to try some! For those of you who live in the city, you are lucky to have such a fantastic restaurant close by! Thanks masamune!

Masamune has a beautiful decor complete with individually styled tatami rooms. The tatami rooms are modified so your legs are comfortable. You can see that great care goes into keeping this place as clean and sanitary. The staff are also very friendly and will answer all questions for sushi novices like myself! I had the Bentoh C from the lunch menu which was really satisfying. It included a California Maki for starters followed by crisp shrimp and veggie tempura and a choice of chicken, beef, or salmon teriyaki! It was nice to have so much variety with my lunch! I left feeling very content and satisfied!

The spicy salmon and spicy tuna are the best in mississauga!!! Unlike alot of other establishments this place uses really fresh chunks of tuna and salmon (alot of other places use questionable fish when making rolls) The quality of the fish in the rolls are just as high as what you would get if you ordered sushi or sashimi a la carte. The dragon maki is also worth the splurge, topped with fresh tuna, salmon, and even unagi! I've been a long time regular at masamune and the sushi chef Richard always takes good care of me! The drive out to Masamune is always worth the trip-

I started my meal with 6 peices of impecable...

I started my meal with 6 peices of impecable butterfish (white tuna) sashimi, my absolute favourite! The fish was very fresh and tasted like heaven! The Salmon Teriyaki was excellent! I got two peices of fleshy grilled salmon fillets with tasty homemade teriyaki sauce on a bed of veggies served on a hotpan. The meal was really good finishing off with a tempura banana ice cream underneath black seaseme ice cream.
