“It’s not the military stereotype that many people have about bootcamps,” says Jonathan, owner of Vancouver Fit Body Bootcamp. “It’s about working out in a positive, encouraging environment.”
Fitness is a huge part of Jonathan’s life, and he wants to share this passion with as many people as he can. This means fostering a supportive environment that focuses on growth and self-improvement instead of aggressively pushing clients to strain themselves.
“You want to get out of bed in the morning because you know that your friends are also getting up to attend bootcamp,” says Jonathan. “That social atmosphere makes it so much easier for people to come in and enjoy themselves.” Vancouver Fit Body Bootcamp’s sessions are hard work, no doubt, but Jonathan has been very careful to develop a positive, encouraging, teamwork- and camaraderie-based atmosphere to make the sessions all the more rewarding.
