Deep Gurm, owner of Shannon Place Cleaners and Tailors, is here to help you. She operates a dry cleaning and tailoring business where no stain is too tough to get out, all in the name of making you look and feel like a million bucks. The actual business had already been a standing pillar in the Vancouver community when Deep took it over in 2013, confident she could elevate it to a more esteemed level.
“It was actually quite a good experience,” says Deep, on the process of buying Shannon Place and taking it over. It was an opportunity her prior experience in dry cleaning had primed her for, allowing her to step in with ease. While she describes each day as requiring a sharp, organized mind, there hasn’t been a challenge too great for Deep to handle. Her customers walk in with soiled garments, confident that Deep and her team will do what it takes to return them sparkling clean.
