They had me in tears - Now to Small Claims Court
Horrible!!!!! I called Custom Cooling Solutions to repair my furnace over the Christmas holidays. They were great about getting out there the same day which was much appreciated. However, they had to come back 6 times to try and fix it. They claimed that there was multiple issues that they didn't discover until fixing each previous issue. They charged me each time for labour, a "call out charge" and parts. Even though they knew I was disputing the charges they charged my Visa for over $1500! I started calling the office to discuss the charges with the owner, Heath, on January 8th. I was told I'd be called back. I called 5 times and each time I was promised a call but never received one and was not given a cell number even though I asked. I was totally stonewalled. On January 20th I finally got in touch with the owner by fluke and when I told him who I was he immediately started yelling at me on the phone before I could even talk him about my concerns. He would not let me get a word in so I just waited until he had exhausted himself of his tantrum like my toddler does. When he was done I calmly asked if he really felt it was fair to charge me over $1500 and he yelled ABSOLUTELY! I said that he is really not giving me any options here. I need to get this settled so I guess I'll have to take it to small claims court. I'll be telling my friends about this bad experience. He started to yell something else and then cut himself off and hung up on me.
