For Teresa Dudzik, it was love at first dance. “I went for my introductory lesson,” she recalls with enthusiasm, “and I fell in love with everything I experienced, and I stayed with dance lessons until June 1, 1998,” when she and her business partner Anthony Bosco opened their own Arthur Murray Dance Studio location.
When asked why they chose to go with an established brand instead of starting their own dance studio, Teresa answers with no hesitation. “The power of a franchise and the Arthur Murray three-way teaching system," she laughs. "I started as a student with an Arthur Murray studio...I don’t really remember what I based it on, it was just that I knew, somehow, that was what I wanted.”
It was always Anthony’s dream to own an Arthur Murray Dance Studio. He started as a student as well, became a teacher and also managed someone else’s studio. Owning an Arthur Murray was a natural next step for him. Together, Anthony and Teresa knew they trusted the name of Arthur Murray, a dance studio has been around since 1912.
