Hooked up my new furnace and AC a week ago. The guys cleaned up their mess, and did a very pro job in about 6 hours. It was a wait to get an installer, but worth it.
Airies installed our ac after we moved into our new home two years ago.
They flooded our basement once for sure maybe twice we could not prove they did it the first time.
Our humidifier they installed never worked and while they were working on it someone left the drain out of the drain pipe. We could not prove it so we had to go through insurance.
Second time our basement flooded it was from the ac. The main drain was blocked by building waste, wood and grout. The overflow was intentionally plugged. This goes against the manufacturers installation instructions the overflow should be piped in and if that can't be done you need to put in a level switch that shuts down the system to prevent any more water to condense.
When I showed them the instructions they said that they never do either of those things.
Seeing that they went against the proper installation procedures and it caused thousands of dollars damage to our finished basement I asked to be reimbursed. The service manager laughed at us when we mentioned this. He was very rude and almost threatening when I mentioned the national plumbers code on drains.
The service manager didn't even know how to install the switch till I showed him.
They have no knowledge on the equipment they install or plumbing. The tech said that they throw away the installation instructions they don't look at them.
Don't use airies unless you want good equipment installed poorly then damaging your home then being laughed at.
