I recently called about purchasing some bottles of my favorite single malt scotch. I was told that they had six bottles left at $170 each, and I asked to purchase three bottles over the phone. I gave the woman my credit card information and personal information, and was told that I would be emailed a receipt at a later date. I was quite happy about this, seeing as how this scotch is no longer being produced, and that these were the last six bottles that they would ever have. I received a voicemail message a day or so later saying that someone had "reserved" all six bottles and therefore I would not be able to purchase any. This other person left no deposit, and no date as to when they would be picking them up. It's one thing to reserve a bottle or two when a deposit is left, but it is quite another to prohibit other customers from making a purchase when the stock is still available. I dont appreciate this kind of business practice, and will never shop here again. If I could give less than one star, I certainly would.

Willow Park Wines & Spirtits has one of the largest wines and spirits selection in Calgary. I am a member of their Bordeaux Future programs allowing you to purchase wine before it's bottled. The release prices are usually lower then what the wines will be sold if not already out of stock in the future. It's my favaorite wine retailer by far!
