First Time Car Buyer

My Boyfriend and I recently purchased a vehicle, we were given a clear mechanic fitness report stating everyhting was fine with the vehichle. We noticed that from the time of posting the ad and looking at the vehicle the dealership had used it for personal use, and put an extra 1000 km on it. It was inspected at 143501 and we bought it with 144500 on it. We didn't think anything about it. We also noticed right away that the tires need to be replaced , and just to be sure I got my mechanic to check the tires out briefly on my lunch break at work, we have many many witness to this, including my boss. We negotiated a price off for the tires and a wheel alignment. When my mechanic took it into fix those things on Saturady March 8th, he let us know that our passanger side strutt was completely blown, has been blown for at least two months. We immediatly called the dealership even though they were closed, they told us to talk to them monday. Monday they were unwilling to negoiate with us to fix the mistake, but we told them that we would get a quote from our mechanic anyways. I called the owner today to confirm that quote, and they are one hunder precent blaming it on the technicain, the dealership was unwilling to cover the costs for new strutts. I talked to one of the AMVIC repersentives today and she explained that they hoist the car up and do a once over. Consumers should know that the Mechanical Fitness Assessment is just a once over, not a full inspection.

We bought our 201...

We bought our 2010 Acura Mdx from them and it's a fabulous deal because the price and service we paid $22,300 with low KMS rather all other dealers are charging with similar truck for around 27k... Also tyres pretty new so don't need to change for a while.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and will be back for our next vehicle.......
